CRMBC ANNUAL MEMBER MEETING 2025

Gather. Celebrate. Advance.

On August 21–22, CRMBC members, brokers, vendors, and invited guests came together in Newport Beach for two days of connection, insight, and celebration at our 2025 Annual Member Meeting. This year’s event was our best ever, with record attendance, powerful updates from leadership, and memorable networking, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Lido House and Newport Harbor.

Annual Member Meeting Sessions

  • Declaration of Surplus: Announced for October 2025.
  • Membership and Contribution Growth: +72% since 2023, reaching $20.4M in annual premiums and $608M payroll.
  • Future Liability Reduced: $2.9M reduction since 2022 (lower projected claims costs, stronger member savings).
  • Loss Ratio Improvement: Down 28.6% from 2022–2024 (fewer losses mean more surplus to return to members).
  • Claims Results: Legal defense, temporary disability, and total incurred costs all reduced by 40–58% (directly lowering costs for members).
  • Pacific Claims Management: Recognized for excellent first-year performance as TPA partner.
For members, these results translate to lower costs, surplus returns, and a stronger shield against market volatility.

Gather

The event opened with a welcome reception on the rooftop of Lido House. Members, brokers, and vendors enjoyed food stations, open bar service, and spectacular sunset views. The relaxed atmosphere set the tone for meaningful conversations and new connections

Celebrate

Friday evening, members boarded the Mojo for a thank-you sunset cruise. Champagne, live music, and panoramic harbor views created an unforgettable celebration of CRMBC’s continued growth and success. One lucky member went home with a $2,000 check, while all principals and decision-makers in attendance received a $500 check for their organizations. Beyond the celebration, these shared experiences strengthen the relationships that make CRMBC more than insurance — it’s a community

Advance

Members heard strategic updates from CRMBC leadership and participated in interactive sessions. CEO & Board Chair Kaya Stanley emphasized that CRMBC is “the club you want to be in,” highlighting the group’s ability to deliver control, financial stability, and surplus returns in a challenging workers’ compensation environment.

Kaya Stanley, CEO and Board Chair, CRMBC

“This year’s Annual Member Meeting was our best ever, a powerful reminder of what happens when our community comes together. We gathered to reconnect, we celebrated our financial strength and historic growth, and we advanced our vision of control, savings, and support for restaurant operators across California. Thank you to every member who makes CRMBC the club our industry wants to be part of.”
